Will anyone unseat two-defending SEC champion Alabama this season?

Our friends at Athlon Sports recently published their order of finish in the SEC, projecting each team’s game-by-game slate. Some of these final records may surprise you:

4. Ole Miss Rebels (9-3, 6-2)

From Athlon: “This team has the talent to contend in the SEC West once again, but the offensive line must become a team strength and provide suitable protection for Kelly. If that happens, the Rebels’ offense should have little trouble scoring points. The defense loses its most talented player in Robert Nkemdiche, but there is star power on every level. Another top-10 finish is well within reach.”

Ole Miss has arguably the toughest first month of the season in the country, starting at Orlando against Florida State on Labor Day, followed by back-to-back home games against Alabama and Georgia – with a little rest period against Wofford as a buffer.

But as good as all three of those teams are expected to be, they are all entrenched in quarterback battles.

At the risk of some assuming, here are four quarterbacks the Rebels should worry about, especially after losing top DBs Mike Hilton and Trae Elston.
