EatingOxford: Five Guys Coming to Oxford
Last week, we broke the news about Chipotle, and today, we can officially confirm that Five Guys is also coming to Oxford.
Five Guys senior communications manager Lauren Lewis said, “Five Guys Oxford was originally planned for a September 2016 opening, but due to construction delays, we’re now looking at late winter 2016 or early spring 2017.”
The Oxford Five Guys will be corporate owned and located on the corner of West Jackson Avenue and Heritage Drive, according to Lewis. A specific address is not available at this time, but it will most likely be the small strip mall across from (and on the same side as) CVS, since that’s the only available piece of real estate on that corner.
Five Guys began in 1986 in Arlington, Virginia. It has since grown to more than 1,000 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada, serving simple hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and fries.

I love these stories about more food in Oxford, but why do we keep getting more of the same food we have!? Where is the demand for Waffle House without a 45 minute ride to the closest one???
