Oxford Police Makes Four Arrests for Armed Robbery at Saddle Creek
On Saturday, June 11, Oxford police officers responded to the scene of an armed robbery at the Saddle Creek subdivision located off South Lamar Boulevard.
The victims said that several armed black males entered the residence wearing masks and holding guns to rob them. The first victim said he was assaulted while held at gun point. He was kept at gunpoint while the robbers made his girlfriend completely undress. She was not assaulted. While inside the residence, the robbers stole the victim’s wallet, iPhone and a pistol.
The Oxford police officers immediately searched the surrounding areas and located a vehicle occupied by several men. The officers stopped and interviewed them. While speaking to them, they obtained permission to search. They then found the masks, weapons and the victim’s property.
The police identifies the suspects as:
- Ramarian Gordon (20 of Oxford)
- Yancy Gordon (20 of Sunflower)
- Roderick Brooks (22 of Sunflower)
- LePatrick Schafer (21 of Sunflower)
They were taken before Judge Johnny McLarty for their Initial Appearance. He set their bonds at $100,000.
