Oxford Crime Report: Friday – Sunday, June 3 – 5 – House Burglary
Bryan Disangro – Burglary
On February 25, Oxford police officers took a report of a residential burglary at Faulkner Flats that had already occurred. The victim was missing a firearm. Upon investigation, the officers found that Bryan Disangro (35 of Oxford) stole the firearm. On June 1, Disangro was arrested for Burglary – Breaking and Entering Dwelling House or Inner Door of Dwelling. Disangro was taken before Judge Mickey Avent for his Initial Appearance and his bond was set at $10,000.
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: 19 suspicious activities, 12 disturbances, eight alarms, six civil complaints, five welfare concerns, four 911 hang up calls, three fire department assists, three complaints of lost property, two petit larcenies, two auto burglaries at Webb Street and Augusta Drive, two ambulance assists, two residential burglaries at McLarty Road and Olive Branch Way, two animal complaints, two reported DUI drivers, a shoplifting, a cyberstalking, a scam, a grand larceny, an illegally parked car, harassing phone calls, a trespassing, a malicious mischief, a motorist assist, a recovered lost property and a noise violation.
Oxford police investigated 12 wrecks, issued 100 traffic citations and made — arrests on the following charges:

Open container, minor in possession of alcohol, public intoxication and warrant served

Battery replacement at 7:49 p.m. due to the detector beeping at 1213 Azalea Cove
Water flow malfunction at 11:11 p.m. at Campus Creek, Building No. 5
Saturday, June 4
Cancelled call at 12:10 p.m. at Rooster’s
Smoke detector activation at 1:00 p.m. due to burned food in the kitchen at Country Club of Oxford
Smoke detector malfunction at 10:27 p.m. at Alpha Omicron Pi house
Sunday, June 5
Stand by at 8:44 a.m. for Center Point Energy to repair a 2″ gas line struct by a construction worker at 300 Fazio Drive
Smoke detector malfunction at 9:42 a.m. in laundry room at 1303 South 11th Street
Power arcing at 9:53 a.m. due to a fried squirrel at 3729 Lyles Drive
Cancelled call at 12:09 p.m. at Country Club of Oxford
Cancelled call at 1:01 p.m. at Baptist Memorial Hospital
Water leak at 2:11 p.m. but the Oxford police had the water turned off upon arrival at 1300A South 16th Street
