Oxford Crime Report: Tuesday, April 19
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: three suspicious activities, three illegally parked cars, two disturbances, two animal complaints, two civil matters, an ambulance assist, a noise violation, a reported lost property, a 911 hang up call, a welfare concern, a shoplifting and an alarm.
Oxford police investigated five wrecks, issued 28 traffic citations and made two arrests on the following charges:
Public intoxication
No taillights and DUI
University police responded to the following incidents: six vehicle stops, a suspicious vehicle in Kincannon field lot and a service call for an ambulance at the Turner Center.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following call: a fire alarm activation at 9:06 p.m. caused by falling boxes at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
