SEC Country: Ole Miss Lands 4-Star WR A.J. Brown

Ole Miss garnered a huge pickup Wednesday, as four-star wide receiver A.J. Brown committed to the Rebels on the High School Football Network.
Brown picked the Rebels over Alabama and Mississippi State.
The Starkville High School (Starkville, Miss.) product officially visited Ole Miss last weekend, and the Rebels have had the momentum to land Brown’s signature ever since. However, many wondered if the hometown pressure would keep him from pledging to play for the Ole Miss.
At 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, Brown is a physical receiver who will play out wide for the Rebels and challenge for playing time in an already loaded wide receiver room.
Brown had a good showing in the camp circuit in December and January and bolstered up the rankings. He is the No. 5 wide receiver in the country, the No. 3 player in the state of Mississippi and the No. 47 overall prospect.
