One day after his official visit to Ole Miss, four-star wide receiver Tre Nixon pledged his commitment to the Rebels via Twitter Monday.
“First of all, I would like to thank god, my family, teammates, coaches, and everyone who has supported me throughout this process. None of this would have been possible without you. This has been one of the toughest decision, but with many thoughts and prayers and support from family and friends I have decided that I will be committing to the University of Mississippi! HOTTY TODDY,” Nixon tweeted.
Last week, The Viera High School product (Melbourne, Fla.) narrowed his list to Ole Miss, Auburn and Georgia. He visited Georgia on Jan. 15 and had plans to visit Auburn this weekend.
Nixon is the No. 36 wide receiver in the nation and No. 29 prospect in the state of Florida for this year’s class.
Ole Miss now has 21 commitments for the Class of 2016.
All player ranking and ratings are from the 247Sports Composite.
