Imani Lombard – Conspiracy to Commit Uttering Forgery
On Monday, December 7, the Oxford police arrested Imani Lombard (21 of Oxford) for conspiracy to commit a crime. The investigators discovered he took pictures of customers’ checks after they paid for their items. Lombard was then attempting to duplicate these checks to reuse. After the investigators arrested him, Lombard was given a bond of $15,000 which was revoked.
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six suspicious activities, five alarms, four improper parking, two noise violations, two welfare concerns, two motorist assists, two 911 hang up calls, a lost property, a embezzlement, an animal complaint, a littering, a shoplifting, a careless driving, an ambulance assist, a false pretense, a disturbance, a scam and a petit larceny.
Oxford police investigated four wrecks, issued 12 traffic citations and made four arrests on the following charges:
Shoplifting
No driver’s license and no insurance
Speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia
Switched tag, no driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia
University police responded to the following incidents: three vehicle stops, accidental hit and run at Meek Hall, vehicle accident on Rebel Drive, auto burglary in Kincannon Hall parking lot, a report of a smoking violation followed by a disorderly conduct with failure to comply in the Galtney Lott Plaza.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following call: a smoke detector activated at 2:43 p.m. by workers at 1044 Zilla Avent Drive.
