Following its first NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in program history, the Ole Miss soccer team landed three Rebels on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-South Region Team, the organization released Thursday.

Freshman phenom CeCe Kizer earned All-South Region First Team accolades, while junior Addie Forbus and senior Jessica Hiskey landed second team honors.

Kizer, the SEC Freshman of the Year and nation’s leading freshman scorer with 14 goals, is the only freshman to appear on the All-South Region First Team list of honorees. Kizer’s 14 goals rank third in the SEC and 18th nationally. The Overland Park, Kansas native found the back of the net for an SEC-leading seven game-winning goals, which ranks fourth nationally. She finished the season with the eighth-most goals in a single season of any Rebel, including the third-most by a freshman in school history.

Kizer adds the all-region honor to her list after being named SEC Freshman of the Week more than once this season, the only freshman in the conference to accomplish the feat.

Hiskey, who recently wrapped up her career as a Rebel, finished the season strong, by helping Ole Miss to nine shutouts on the season, including two over top-10 opponents in No. 10 South Carolina and No. 10 Auburn back in October. She became the first Rebel defender to be named All-SEC since the 2011 campaign, earning All-SEC Second Team honors for her efforts on the pitch in 2015.

This season, Hiskey started in all 23 contests, capping her consecutive starts streak to 55 matches. She finished the year with two goals and one assist, leading the squad in minutes played with 2,156. Hiskey also adds the NSCAA honor to her collection after earning SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 19, and was also named a CoSIDA Academic All-American and CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree. She, along with six other Rebel seniors, finished with 51 wins over a four-year span, tied for the most of any senior class in Ole Miss history.

Forbus, also an All-SEC First Team honoree, finished with 11 goals on the season, second-most on the team. She and Kizer combined for 25 goals, more than five SEC schools scored the entire season, for the fifth-highest scoring duo in the nation. The Amory, Mississippi native ranked in the top-10 statistically in nearly every SEC offensive category. She scored in three-straight matches twice throughout the season and led the squad in shots with 69 and shots on goal with 34.

Also a star in the classroom, Forbus was named CoSIDA Academic All-America, as well as a CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree following the season.
