Game Time Set for Egg Bowl
The Nov. 28 Battle of the Golden Egg contest between Ole Miss and Mississippi State, better known as the Egg Bowl, will kick off at 6:15 p.m. CT in Starkville.
The game will be televised by ESPN2. It will be the Rebels’ second appearance of the season on that channel, the first since all the way back on Sept. 12 against Fresno State.
The regular-season finale Egg Bowl will mark the 11th straight nationally televised game for the Rebels, including two on CBS, one on ABC, four on ESPN, two on ESPN2, one on ESPNU and one on the SEC Network.
Before the post-Thanksgiving trip to Starkville, No. 25 Ole Miss (7-3, 4-2 SEC) will host No. 17 LSU (7-2, 4-2 SEC) in a clash of teams currently tied for second in the SEC West standings. Saturday’s contest will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT as CBS’ SEC Game of the Week.
