For most people, a visit to the dentist is seen as a not so pleasant but necessary experience. You go in, someone X-rays and examines your mouth, flosses and cleans your teeth and you hopefully get a good report before it’s over. It is probably fair to say that most people would rather not have to go to the dentist. A Smile 4 U Dentistry in Oxford, Mississippi has set out to change all that.

From the moment you walk in their door, that feeling is nonexistent. The banner above their door reads “Pleasure in Dentistry,” and that is exactly what their goal is – to make every visit to their office a pleasure for their clients and their staff.

Opening its doors in Oxford in May 2009, A Smile 4 U has endeared itself to Oxford’s citizens with a friendly atmosphere, and most importantly top of the line dental care. They provide numerous services to adults and children of all ages from general and cosmetic dentistry to orthodontics.

Office Manager Jamie McBrayer believes the thing that makes A Smile 4 U so special is the actual “cradle to elderly” mentality that they employ with their clients. “For me what I love about this place is that we see everybody,” McBrayer said. “We see the children from six months after they get their first tooth to the elderly patients who want to come in for dentures. We see everybody from young to old.”

A Smile 4 U has a very loyal and growing patient base. They see between 200 and 300 patients in Oxford every week, and they employ four dentists and one orthodontist. One of these dentists is newly hired Dr. Twinkle Anand, who has practiced dentistry for 11 years, but sees something different and special here. He is extremely excited about his future with A Smile 4 U.

A Smile 4 U, from what I’ve gathered in my short time here, is a group extremely dedicated to helping people no matter if they are old or young,” Anand said. “They are very caring and very focused on meeting patient needs, and that is something I wanted to be apart of when I interviewed for this job.”

This friendly and pleasant atmosphere is what keeps patients coming back and attracting new ones every week. The staff’s goal is to always work to make it a place people want to come back to, maintaining the goal to provide a “Pleasure in Dentistry” to people of all ages.
