Chet Lott Joins the Foo Fighters Onstage in Memphis
Last Wednesday, the Foo Fighters appeared with a guest singer at the FedEx Forum in downtown Memphis. Chet Lott, son of former Senate Majority leader Trent Lott, was the guest singer.
Chet Lott joined Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters for the old times’ sake, or rather for vengeance, Dave Grohl joked. Decades ago at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science in Technology in Alexandria, Virginia, Lott and his band defeated Grohl’s high school band in a ‘Battle of the Bands’ competition.
Lott was at the FedEx Forum to watch the Foo Fighters when Grohl called him onstage to sing in front of 20,000 fans at the concert. Together they sang the Queen – David Bowie song “Under Pressure.”
Here is a video by Brandy Hudson of the duo performing.
Chet Lott is a fellow musician. Check out his website to see his work!
