Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five alarms, four suspicious activities, four careless driving, three welfare concerns, two disturbances, two animal complaints, two civil matter, a malicious mischief, a fire department assist, a petit larceny, a public intoxication, a lost property, a trespassing, and a noise violation.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 31 traffic citations and made 21 arrests on the following charges:

Ran a red light, minor in possession of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia
University police responded to the following incidents: six vehicle stops, a disturbance at Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house, a petit larceny at Kincannon Hall, and a traffic detail on Hathorn Road.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following call: a smoke detector activated at 7:44 a.m. by a resident cooking at Canterbury Crest 108.
