Montecuz Goliday – Burglary
On Wednesday, August 5, the Oxford police department arrested Montecuz Goliday, 23 of Oxford, for burglary. A witness identified Goliday after seeing him leave a home on Booker Road with stolen property in his hands. Goliday was given a bond of $10,000 and a hold was placed on him for other agencies as well.
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: seven suspicious activities, four alarms, two disturbances, two careless driving, two petit larcenies, a trespassing, an ambulance assist, an improper parking, a 911 hang up, a public intoxication, a malicious mischief, a harassment, and a recovered property.
Oxford police investigated five wrecks, issued six traffic citations and made two arrests on the following charges:
- careless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule IV narcotics and DUI
- minor in possession of alcohol
University police department responded to the following incidents: five vehicle stops and receiving a stolen property at Poole Drive.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls: a smoke detector activated at 1:50 a.m. due to smoking a cigarette on the second floor Stockard Hall, and a pull station alarm at 1:57 a.m. by water leaking on the pull station at Honors College.
