Suzanne Clark Clemes – Domestic Violence: Aggravated Assault
On Wednesday May 27, 2015, officers with the Oxford police department responded to a domestic disturbance call at Rubin Drive Apartment #7 where the husband reported being cut by the wife. After arriving on the scene officers arrested, Suzanne Clark Clemens, 39 years of age from Oxford, for Domestic Violence- Aggravated Assault. Clemens bond was set at $1,500.
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: three disturbances, two alarms, two welfare concerns, two suspicious activities, a suspicious person, a suspicious vehicle, a petit larceny, a trespassing, a malicious mischief, an improper parking, an abandoned vehicle and a fire department assist.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 12 tickets and made four arrests on the following charges: a careless driving with an open container with DUI to first degree; an expired tag with no driver’s license nor car insurance; a disorderly conduct; and a domestic violence – aggravated assault.
University police responded to the following incidents: a vehicle stop on Hathorn Road, a dispatch from Oxford police, a report of a suspicious person at the J.D. Williams Library, a petit larceny at Turner Center, a vehicle wreck at Old Athletics, and a vehicle wreck at Jackson Avenue Center.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following call: construction workers hit a gas line at 8:19 a.m. at the new construction site for the Chancellor House Hotel and the fire department stood by until Center Point Energy could cap it.
