Oxford Crime Report: Thursday, May 14
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five alarms, five suspicious activities, three civil matters, two careless drivers, two ambulance assists, two 911 hang ups, two petit larcenies, two motorist assists, a shoplifting, a disturbance, a welfare concern, an improper parking, a trespassing, harassing phone call, a grand larceny, an animal complaint and an auto-burglary at Windsor Falls.
Oxford police investigated five wrecks, 20 traffic citations and made no arrests.
University police responded to the following incidents: two vehicle stops, two traffic details, a service call for an ambulance at Ford Center, and a willful trespassing at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls: a third floor water flow and smoke detector alarm malfunctions at 7:29 a.m. at the Delta Gamma house, a heat detector malfunction at 10:57 a.m. at Natural Products, a main storage closet smoke detector malfunction at 3:57 at Martin Hall, and a cancelled call at 4:44 at Winchester.
