Today was the National Prayer Day, and this afternoon many people of several churches and Christian denominations gathered to pray this afternoon on the Courthouse yard.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance on first Thursday of May that welcomes people of all faiths to pray for United States of America. President Harry Truman signed this joint resolution by the United States Congress into law in 1952 thus creating this national day.

It is so great to see this. I praise you all in Jesus’s name.

Prayer is so important, more so now.
