Oxford Crime Report: Thursday, April 30
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six alarms, two lost properties, two animal complaints, two disturbances, two open doors, a fire department assist, a motorist assist, an unauthorized use of another’s credit card, a suspicious activity, a civil matter, a welfare concern, a trespassing and a residential burglary at 1600 S. 16th Street.
Oxford police investigated 10 wrecks, issued 17 traffic citations and made four arrests on the following charges: a public drunk with possession of fake ID; a careless driving with a suspended driver’s license; a possession of Schedule II controlled substance; and a trespassing.
University police responded to the following incidents: two vehicle stops, two traffic assists, a larceny per breaking into a coin machine at Brown Hall, a disturbance on Student Union Drive, a petit larceny at Crosby Hall, and a housing offense at Stockard Hall.
Oxford Fire Department is currently busy.
