Vassallo: Summer Previews Coming to Prep for Rebel Football Season

Beginning in June, we’ll take four of the Rebels’ upcoming opponents, analyzing the opposing team and determining our chances of winning the game to prep for August.
We’ll explore a number of factors every week through the summer, including:
- Returning starters
- Strength at the QB
- Opponent’s ranking and 2014 results
- Miscellaneous info
- Proposed strengths and weaknesses
- History versus Ole Miss
- Location of game
- Probability of Ole Miss winning
- Difficulty of the opponent as the team relates to all 12 of our opponents
This analysis should be of interest to our entire fan base. We’ll look at each opponent in the order they appear on our schedule. This is shaping up to be another outstanding and exciting season for Ole Miss football. A bowl game is almost a certainty and the primary suspense will be where it is and who the opponent is. I’m still optimistic that we can return to the Sugar, a bowl unseen since Archie Manning & Co. in 1970.
