Oxford Elementaries Rank High among Mississippi Public Schools
The accolades recognizing the amazing food, beauty and culture of Oxford are a dime a dozen, but this time, the area’s exceptional elementary education is receiving high marks.
Niche ranked the Top 100 public elementary schools out of the 40,403 across Mississippi, and both Oxford School District elementaries were ranked in the Top 20. Della Davidson Elementary for grades fourth and fifth was ranked 16th, and Oxford Elementary which holds first and second grade, came in right behind at 17.
In the Top 10 are three Madison elementary schools and D.T. Cox Elementary School of Pontotoc rounding out the group. Rankings were based on statistics and opinions from more than 280,000 students and parents.
“A high ranking indicates that the school is an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students and faculty, and the students are very happy with their experiences.”
