Allen Vaughn – Credit Card Fraud

On Monday, March 30, 2015, investigators of the Oxford police department arrested Allen Vaughn, 51 years old of Oxford, for two counts of felony credit card fraud. Vaughn was arrested after officers received video of him using a stolen credit card. His bond was set at $5,000.

Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four disturbances, four suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two noise complaints, an alarm, a harassment, an improper parking, a motorist assist, a burglary at CR 3055, a fire department assist, a fraud, a civil matter, a 911 hang up call, and an animal complaint.

Oxford police investigated nine wrecks, issued five traffic citations and made two arrests on the following charges: a DUI, and a speeding with DUI.

University police responded to the following incidents: five vehicle stops, a service call for an ambulance at University Circle, a traffic assist on Sorority Row, and a suspicious vehicle on the Presidential Debate Way.

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following incidents: a smoking car with no fire on 20 CR 150, and a smoke detector activated by steam from a dryer at Minor Hall.
