It was a tough stretch leading to Sunday’s selections with a regular season finale loss to Vanderbilt at home followed by a defeat during their first game of the Southeastern Conference tournament, but the Rebels are going dancing.

Ole Miss narrowly made it into the 2015 NCAA tournament, first taking on the BYU Cougars in Dayton, Ohio, with tipoff slated for 8:10 p.m. CST on Tuesday. The two will battle for the No. 11 slot in the West division.

The winner moves on to face No. 6 Xavier in Jacksonville on Thursday.

Coach Andy Kennedy has gotten the Rebels into the tournament twice in the past three years, and the SEC was able to get five teams into the field of 68 teams, including No. 1 Kentucky.
