Hardwood Rebs Welcome Big Orange to Tad Pad for Saturday Action

With only five games left in the regular season, Ole Miss has their sights set on the NCAA tournament but aren’t there yet. The Rebels welcome the Tennessee Volunteers to the Tad Smith Coliseum on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
Ole Miss is 18-8 on the season and 9-4 in the SEC after a 71-67 victory over in-state rival Mississippi State on Thursday. Junior Stefan Moody scored 29 points and eight 3-pointers made in the game in his first trip inside the Humphrey Coliseum.
Ole Miss ranks No. 2 in the nation in free throw percentage, hitting 78.6 percent of its attempts, and Moody leads the SEC in free throw percentage at 90.0 a game.
Tennessee is coming into town with a 6-7 SEC record and 14-11 overall. Last time out on the court, UT dropped its game against No.1 Kentucky 66-48. The Vols are led by senior Josh Richardson, scoring 15.8 ppg and knocking down a team-best 32 3-pointers.
Saturday’s game will be the 112 meeting between the two schools on the hardwood, with Tennessee holding a 70-41 advantage in the series.
