What is Oxford without Ole Miss — the most populated part of the area, the biggest job creator in Oxford and the heart of our lovely Southern town?

Oxford was founded to attract the flagship university of Mississippi in 1848, but many of the people who love and cherish Ole Miss the most are hours away from the beauty of Rowan Oak, the Square and the Grove.

Though some make it back for a few Grove weekends, football tailgates and graduation ceremonies, “one never graduates from Ole Miss.” Now, we’re here to bring all the news you need to keep up with your favorite school from anywhere in the world.

Every weekend, HottyToddy.com will be bringing you Ole Miss Weekend Edition with all the news from the Ole Miss campus — everything from the most groundbreaking research in the School of Pharmacy, the student’ stories in the Meek School of Journalism and New Media, the productions by the Ole Miss theatre and music departments and everything in between.

Visit our Facebook page and Twitter feed every Saturday and Sunday to catch up on the latest and greatest from the University of Mississippi.

Think there’s a story we need to cover from campus? Email us your stories and ideas for news, features, sports, commentary and everything Ole Miss. Hotty Toddy, y’all!

Amelia Camurati is editor of HottyToddy.com and an Ole Miss alum glad to be back in Oxford. She can be reached at amelia.camurati@hottytoddy.com.
