Ole Miss (15-7, 6-3SEC) took control from the opening tipoff with a early 13-4 run in the 69-59 victory with both teams suffering from poor shooting nights all over the court. With the win, the Rebels moved into a three-way tie for second place in the Southeastern Conference.

The Aggies then made a run of their own and took a 28-24 lead before the Rebels found a way to hit from downtown after missing 12 straight 3-pointers, and the Rebels were able to swing the momentum back in their favor off 11 steals.

Junior Stefan Moody lead the Rebels in scoring with 19 points over the Aggies. Ole Miss also received key contributions from senior forward M.J. Rhett, joining Moody in double figures with 11 points, and sophomores Sebastian Saiz with nine points and Dwight Coleby who added seven. Ole Miss shot 75 percent from the charity stripe and 39 percent from the field.

Up next for the Rebels is a matchup against Auburn on the Plains Saturday night. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
