Anyone who has set foot on the campus of the University of Mississippi, from potential students to football foes, has marveled at the campus, from beauty of the ancient oak trees covering the Grove to the historic brick buildings and their majestic columns.

Ole Miss is often named among the most beautiful spots in the nation when it comes to tailgating. Landscapers can be seen around campus all times of year, from the hottest summer days to the most bitter winter mornings, maintaining a beautiful place for students, faculty, alumni and visitors 365 days a year.
Beyond the landscaping, many of our buildings have been around for many decades, and all are clad in brick. Even new construction on campus, such as the parking garage by Vaught-Hemingway stadium, continues to mimic the buildings around it and keep the old Southern charm on the ever-growing campus.

Picnic tables under the massive trees by Shoemaker Hall are always a premium for pre-test studying, and the Phi Mu fountain by J.D. Williams library has the perfect space for sitting around the edges.
Princeton Review’s rankings are based on annual surveys taken by students around the country.

I’m an Ole Miss grad and am proud of our campus, especially considering the fact that we are a public university in a not-so-rich state. Going to school at Ole Miss is similar to going to college at Disney World. Every day is amazing and the campus is prolific in beauty and in beautiful people. Tailgating is phenomenal, it’s truly unique. The campuses listed that I have seen are all equally deserving.
