Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four lost properties, three suspicious activities, three welfare concerns, two disturbances, two alarms, a civil matter, an improper parking, a motorist assist, a false pretense, an animal assist, a grand larceny, a harassing phone call, a careless driver, and an auto-burglary at 600 East Jackson Avenue.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 27 traffic citations, and made nine arrests on the following charges: (2) speeding with DUI, (2) minor in possession of alcohol, (2) public intoxication, a careless driving with DUI, a possession of drug paraphernalia, and a shoplifting.
Oxford police discovered no code enforcement violation.
University police responded to the following incidents: two reports of petit larceny at Turner Center, a motor vehicle accident on Rebel Drive, two reports of petit larceny at Grove, a motor vehicle accident at Poole Drive, and a motor vehicle accident at West Road.
Oxford fire dept. received no emergency calls yesterday.
