Cannon Motors Opens Modern New Highway 6 Facility

Cannon Motor Company officially opened its new Oxford dealership location on Highway 6 West Thursday with a grand opening celebration attended by community leaders and loyal Cannon customers.The festivities began with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m., followed by live music and refreshments that continued until 7 p.m.

“My family and I … wanted to build something that the area could be proud of for generations to come,” said Co-Owner Michael Joe Cannon. “Our new location on the bypass will serve us well, given the flow of traffic and the layout of the facility.”

Cannon Motors & Collision Center began welcoming customers to its new facility on Monday, December 3. The dealership’s former location was on West Jackson Avenue, where it had operated since 2007. Cannon Motors’ new dealership boasts a 26,500 square foot showroom and a 14,000 square foot body shop. The state-of-the-art, larger showroom allows Cannon Motors more space to display its vehicles and meet with customers.

Equipped with the latest technology and equipment, Cannon Motors’ new service center provides an air-conditioned repair shop and drive up service lanes, including three dedicated quick lube lanes to provide efficient oil change service.

The new space was designed with eco-friendly benefits in mind. Customers can enjoy an indoor waiting area with a TV and complimentary WiFi. Additionally, Cannon Motors’ parts and service departments are now open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by popular demand from customers.

“We hope that our new location will help us prosper as our community grows,” Cannon said.
