Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six alarms, four disturbances, four welfare concerns, three animal assists, three suspicious activities, two motorist assists, a careless driver, a harassing phone call, an improper parking, a petit larceny, an auto-burglary at Campus Creek.
Oxford police investigated six wrecks, issued 15 traffic citations, and made five arrests on the following charges: (2) malicious mischief, a public intoxication, driving wrong way on an one way street, and a simple assault.
Oxford police discovered no code enforcement violations.
University police responded to the following incidents: an off-campus forgery for $1,000, a service call for an ambulance at Turner Center, a service call for an ambulance at Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, a traffic detail at Chucky Mullins Drive, and two intoxicated persons in the Kincannon parking lot.
Oxford Fire Dept. responded to the following calls: a general fire alarm at 102 Ed Perry Blvd., a smoke detector activation at 24 Confederate Drive, and a general fire alarm at 133 Women’s Terrace East.
