Oxford police responded to the following incidents: eight alarms, four suspicious activities, two malicious mischief, a noise complaint, an ambulance assist, a disturbance, a reporting person, a simple assault and a possession of stolen property.
Oxford police investigated 10 wrecks, issued 36 traffic citations and made __ for the following charges: (2) public intoxication, a DUI, a warrant served, a possession of drug paraphernalia, a possession of fake ID, a driver without drivers’ license, car insurance and with possession of fake ID and drug paraphernalia, and a possession of drug paraphernalia with speeding and no drivers’ license.
Oxford police discovered no code enforcement violations.
University police responded to the following incidents: an accidental hit and run at Sorority Lot, a motor vehicle accident with property damage at V. B. Harrison Health Center, a suspicious vehicle at North Lane, a warrant served at Turner Center, a vehicle stop at Chucky Mullins Drive, a vehicle stop at Hill Drive, a vehicle stop at Intramural Fields, and a petit larceny at Lenoir Hall.
