A Beautiful Doe Caught In the Camera Lens
One of the pleasures of working at HottyToddy.com is the view of nature we enjoy right outside our building.
I’ve photographed Cardinals in the past, and this morning around 7:30 a.m., I was treated by a visit from a beautiful doe. She had no fear of me as I approached with my camera and stared right into my lens with discerning eyes.
She moved a bit up the grass hill toward the brush. She chomped on some low-hanging leaves for a while, sharing the bright, cool morning sunshine with this strange-looking human with a black cylinder sprouting out of his head like a misplaced antler.
I took several shots and then, as I moved a step closer, she scampered back into the woods — not in fear — but simply to tell me it was time to go and attend to other deer business.
