SEC Shorts: Classic parody of Ole Miss fans on game day
Having some fun with Rebels’ fans in classic look of the weekly parody show mainly because games haven’t been close.
OXFORD, Miss. — Considering Ole Miss has rolled up every non-conference opponent they’ve faced, the guys at SEC Shorts had some fun with the fans.
This parody of the Rebels fans had almost nothing to do with last week’s 52-13 win over opening SEC play this week. It didn’t even mention quarterback Jaxson Dart and that’s almost required viewing in everything about Ole Miss football these days (or Lane Kiffin).
We won’t spoil it for you, but they will face probably the best team they’ve seen all year when Kentucky comes to town for an 11 a.m. game at Vaught-Hemingway on ABC.
Kiffin talked at his Monday press conference about the talent the Wildcats have on defense, despite a 2-2 record that includes a 13-12 nailbiting loss that knocked No. 1 Georgia down a peg in the rankings.
Of course, the only offense Kentucky has seen that’s even close to the Rebels is South Carolina and that didn’t work out well. The Gamecocks won easily, 31-6, in the second week of the season.
