Woman Arrested for Helping Fugitive
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department arrested a woman for being an accessory after the fact of theft.

On Friday, investigators arrested 38-year-old Shanta Thomas, who was believed to have been helping an individual who was on the run for the charge of grand larceny.
Thomas was given a bond of $5,000.
