Oxford Police Department issued 34 tickets, made one arrest for suspended driver’s license, no insurance, no tag, no seat belt, investigated 10 wrecks and the following reports:

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department made no arrests, investigated one wreck and the following reports:

1 juvenile complaint
1 reckless driving
5 service calls
2 suspicious vehicles

3 welfare concerns
University Police Department made no arrests, investigated one wreck and the following reports:
1 wreck
2 vandalisms
1 ambulance needed
1 fraud
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 suspicious person
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
2:11 p.m. – 12 Robbins Circle – OPD called and wanted OFD to check a hydrant that had been hit by a vehicle – the hydrant was fine
4:39 p.m. – Residential Hall 1 room 249 – smoke detector malfunction
8:57 p.m. – 1602 West Jackson Ave. – a smoke detector was beeping
5:51 a.m. 12/3 – Winchester – call canceled
6:52 a.m. 12/3 – The Graduate Hotel Laundry Room – a dryer caught fire but was out upon arrival
