Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated five wrecks and the following reports:

University Police Department investigated three wrecks and the following reports:

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
11/27 – 4:55 p.m. – 111 CR 401 – medical assist call but the mother said the patient was alright and did not need assistance (panic attack according to the mother)
11/27 – 5:16 p.m. – 611 Commerce Parkway – cooking activated a smoke detector
11/27 – 6:49 p.m. – 614 Berkeley Court – cooking activated a smoke detector
11/27 – 9:25 p.m. – Old Taylor Place – called for a breaker arcing and smell of wires burning – no breaker issue found, no smell of burning wires
11/28 – 08:08 a.m. – 19 CR 290 – grading driveway and cut a gas line – stood by for Centerpoint
11/28 – 08:45 a.m. – 3036 Davis Drive – medical call – EMS on scene at the same time
11/28 – 6:54 p.m. – 107 PR 3049 – cooking activated a smoke detector
11/28 – 10:50 p.m. – State Veterans Home – fire alarm activation – employees had already reset the alarm
11/29 – 7:24 a.m. – Alpha Delta Pi house – gas leak alarm malfunction – no leak
11/29 – 9:23 a.m. – 1405 Short St. – rescued a dog that was stuck under a car seat
11/30 – 2:37 p.m. – 1021 Molly Barr Cove – wreck with injury
11/30 – 6:48 p.m. – 44 CR 3022 – cooking fire – out upon arrival
11/30 – 6:55 p.m. – 611 Commerce Parkway – burned food activated a smoke detector
12/01 – 4:10 p.m. – Hwy. 6 West in front of Toyota – wreck with no injuries
