Hollywood Feed is the go-to store for the four-legged celebrity in every family.

President of Hollywood Feed, Shawn McGhee, said the natural and holistic pet foods his stores offer are the best choice for pets for multiple reasons.

Hollywood Feed strives to focus on pet food and treats that have natural products. Ingredients are their utmost priority, as well as where their products are made. Hollywood Feed’s line of dog beds, leashes, collars, and accessories are all produced in the state of Mississippi.

“We work hard to source everything we can in the United States,” said McGhee.

The company makes their own treats at Hollywood Feed Fresh bakery location in Memphis that delivers to all 100-plus locations.

Hollywood Feed’s employees truly care about quality and educating customers about making the right decisions for their pets. Each team member receives 40-plus hours of education and training every year.

While most people are unaware of the ingredients that they are feeding their pets, McGhee believes people are more knowledgeable today than ever before.

“The trend toward natural and holistic nutrition has increased awareness about the relationship between feeding well and feeling well,” said McGhee.

The benefits of buying all-natural and grain-free dog food are more rewarding than one might think. Both offer dogs a nutrient-rich diet in which their systems get the nutrition they need without having to digest unnecessary fillers.

“Pets who eat clean tend to be healthier, have less digestive issues, less skin irritation and even less behavioral issues,” said McGhee.

Is generic dog food really that bad? McGhee said if the ingredients in the pet food does not sound like something you or your family should eat, then it won’t be good for your dog or cat.

A healthy diet is well worth the cost because it could likely save on healthcare costs in the long run, McGhee said. Hollywood Feed offers a price match guarantee if customers find the same dog food somewhere else at a better price.

“At Hollywood Feed, we train our Feed Team to help customers find the best quality food at the best prices for their pet,” said McGhee.

He noted that every dog is different, so finding the right food for your pet is key.

Caroline Barnette, a loyal Hollywood Feed customer, said the switch from popular brand pet food to food from Hollywood Feed has made all the difference in her dog. 

“After switching Willow to food from Hollywood Feed, she has become more energetic and she just seems to be happier all around,” she said. 

Barnette likes how, if a pet does not like one of their products, the customer is able to bring it back to Hollywood Feed for a refund. They will also replace the product with something new, free of charge.

Hollywood Feed donates any unused items to local shelters or rescue groups, according to McGhee, so no Hollywood Feed products go to waste.
