Oxford Police Department issued 41 tickets, investigated 19 wrecks and the following reports:

4 vehicle searches
3 welfare checks
OPD made the following arrests:
1 DUI, careless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia
1 DUI, speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia and no insurance
1 DUI, careless driving, no insurance and no driver’s license
1 DUI and no headlights
1 DUI and running a red light
1 domestic violence with simple assault
2 public drunks
2 for possession of drug paraphernalia
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding
1 shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia, leaving the scene of a wreck, simple assault, improper lane change, running a red light, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, careless driving and no insurance
1 simple assault
1 warrant served, no driver’s license and speeding
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 family disturbance
1 improper passing, failure to yield to blue lights, disorderly conduct and DUI
2 DUIs
1 suspended driver’s license and no insurance
University Police Department made no arrests and responded to three wrecks.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
11/22 – 08:37 – Gertrude Ford Blvd. / Alumni Drive – wreck with injuries: a small child was in the backseat unrestrained
11/22 – 09:04 – Bickerstaff Condos – gas was leaking at the meter
11/22 – 19:08 – Marco’s Pizza – fire alarm pull station malfunction
11/23 – 00:43 – St. Peter’s Church – smell of gas – a pilot light went out of the stove and was leaking gas – FD turned the gas off to the stove
11/23 – 01:06 – 312 Heritage – upstairs smoke detector malfunction
11/23 – 12:02 – 705 Martin Luther King Jr. Circle – medical call – monitored until EMS arrived
11/23 – 12:08 – 3207 Jeff Davis – bad batteries in a detector
11/23 – 13:14 – 6101 Fairmont Way – painting activated smoke detector
11/23 – 14:01 – 950 Molly Barr Road – bad batteries in a smoke detector
11/24 – 20:54 – 208 Nash Circle – medical call – monitored patient until EMS arrived
