Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
9:59 a.m. – 1205B Office Park Drive – workers painting activated a smoke detector
11:27 a.m – Vaught Hemingway – first-floor men’s locker room – using a kerosene heater activated the smoke detector
12:00 p.m. – Highway 7 South / Commerce Parkway – wreck with injuries
2:52 p.m. – The Blake – cleaning a smoke detector caused an activation
4:40 p.m. – Phi Beta Phi house – zone 2 smoke detector malfunction
10:21 p.m. – 206 South Lamar Court – kitchen smoke detector malfunction
