Oxford Police Department issued 41 tickets, investigated 20 wrecks and the following reports:

1 domestic disturbance

3 malicious mischief complaints

Officers made the following arrests:
1 domestic violence and simple assault
1 no driver’s license
1 possession of a schedule 2 drug, careless driving, no tail lights, no insurance and expired tag
1 possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of a fake ID
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

Deputies made the following arrests:

1 out-of-county warrant
University Police Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

Officers made the following arrests:
1 possession of a controlled substance, possession of a fake ID and resisting arrest
8 for possession of a fake ID
2 for possession of beer by person under 21
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
10/21 7:47 a.m. – 1413 South Lamar Blvd. – workers activated the garage smoke detector
10/21 10:01 a.m. – Sally’s Beauty Supply – gas meter in back was leaking gas
10/21 1:11 p.m. – Tru Hotel 97 Ed Perry Blvd. – call canceled
10/21 6:16 p.m. – 2116 Delores Cove – patient having asthma attack – monitored until EMS arrived
10/22 7:52 a.m.- Sam-Gerard Hall – general fire alarm malfunction
10/22 10:23 a.m. – Bramlett Blvd. and University Ave. – wreck with injuries
10/22 11:16 a.m. – Haven House – call canceled
10/22 2:47 p.m. – 4008 Cedarcrest Road – public service
