Officers made the following arrests:

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

1 suspicious person

University Police Department made no arrests, investigated two wrecks and the following reports:
1 ambulance needed
1 vandalism
1 property damage
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
2:08 p.m. – 703 Summerset – patient with a broken arm – no ambulance available- FD put a splint on her arm and patient went in their own vehicle to the ER
4:55 p.m. – The Village Bldg. 134 – mechanical room heat detector malfunction
5:50 p.m. – 318 King St. – medical call – stood by for EMS
6:01 p.m. – The Blake – smell of gas – found an outside lamp leaking natural gas
6:28 p.m. – Lucky Day Residential College – #267 – smoke detector malfunction
1:17 a.m. – Sigma Nu house laundry room – lint in a dryer caught fire – it was out upon arrival
