Oxford Crime & Emergency Reports from Oct. 14, 2019

The following reports were made Oct. 14, 2019, by city, university and county law enforcement agencies, unless otherwise noted.

Oxford Police Department issued no tickets, made no arrests and investigated the following reports:
4 alarms
1 ambulance assist
2 animal complaints
1 burglary
1 careless driving
2 civil matters
1 disturbing the peace
3 harassments
1 identity theft
1 larceny
1 lost property
1 other agency assist
1 property damage
7 suspicious activities
3 suspicious people
2 trespassing
4 welfare checks

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department made no arrests and investigated the following reports:
1 agency assist
3 animal complaints
3 civil matters
1 harassment
1 information
2 juvenile complaints
1 reckless driving
1 service call
1 suspicious activity
1 suspicious person
3 transports
1 welfare concern
2 service process

University Police Department served one warrant, investigated one wreck and the following reports:
1 harassment
1 ambulance needed

Oxford Fire Department reports will be unavailable until Oct. 14.
5:15 – Edgewood Blvd. – Blown transformer – stood by for North East Power
1:02 p.m. – 1005 Filmore – homeowner testing the fire alarm system
1:10 -p.m.- City Grocery – medical call – monitored patient until EMS arrived
1:27 p.m. – 19 Highway 334 area – wreck with injuries – provided first aid and monitored until EMS arrived
