Ole Miss Trails the Tigers At Half

The Ole Miss Rebels trail the Missouri Tigers 18-7 after the half in Columbia, Missouri.
At the end of the second quarter, the Rebels had an opportunity to take a 14 – 12 advantage going into the locker room. Missouri was able to come up with a stop at the goal line to keep Snoop Conner out of the end zone.
Ole Miss got off to a fast start in the game as the starting quarterback John Rhys Plumlee led the charge down the field. He found Scottie Phillips on a 21-yard connection for the only score of the half for the red and blue. Phillips touched the ball five times for 18 yards.
Plumlee finished the half throwing for 63 yards and a touchdown. He carried the ball 13 times for 50 yards.
The Landshark defense only allowed the Tigers’ quarterback Kelly Bryant and his team to reach pay dirt once with a couple of field goals in the mix.
Bryant passed for 142-yards in 13 completions. He also recorded six yards on the ground with his legs.
On the final drive of the half, Matt Corral came into the game and went 4-for-6 in the air for 56 yards.
Ole Miss finished the half with 200 total yards with 119 in the air and 81 on the ground.
