Who is Glenn Boyce? I thought Principal Rooney was hired as the Ole Miss chancellor. Rumor has it there is a Dr. Bueller working in the Journalism dept. pic.twitter.com/v6zzTDr7WC

This has nothing to do with Dr. Boyce and Matt Luke.
It has everything to do with the process. Ole Miss fans, alumni and supporters have every right to be asking questions.
They deserve answers. https://t.co/L24yYsGrYo

Let me get this straight..IHL hires one of their cronies (Glenn Boyce) to serve as advisor to find new OleMiss Chancellor..several VERY qualified candidates emerge..Glenn decides he wants job, so IHL cancels process and hires him? Only in Mississippi. Corrupt IHL is complete joke

You can say what you want about the hiring of Glenn Boyce, but you can’t argue with his ability to unite a fractured, apathetic fan and alumni base in less than 24 hours.

I would like to clarify I am not disappointed in the hiring of Dr Glenn Boyce. I am however very disappointed in the almost two year long process it took to get to this point.

Among the new University of Mississippi chancellor’s supporters?
Trent Lott! He told @clarionledger, and I quote: "I also love the fact that [Glenn Boyce] appears to be a good ol’ boy.”https://t.co/lbayZy8ruz

As tensions rise on campus, university organizations and community members have already created an online petition to fire Boyce from his new position.
The petition garnered 846 signatures by 11:10 a.m. Friday.
