IHL Confirms Chancellor Press Conference at Noon
A press release issued by the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning confirmed they will be making an announcement regarding UM’s next chancellor at noon today at the Inn at Ole Miss. The meeting will be held in the Gertrude C. Ford Ballroom.

Social media exploded last night as sources began to confirm Dr. Glenn Boyce, former IHL commissioner, was chosen as the university’s next leader.
The UM Foundation hired Boyce to meet with “influential individuals” about qualities they’d like to see in the university’s next chancellor. No clarification has been given if he held that role at the time of his appointment.
The IHL did not confirm they would be announcing him by name, rather they will “make (an) important announcement concerning the University of Mississippi Chancellor Search.”
The press conference will be streamed via Facebook Live on the University of Mississippi Facebook page at facebook.com/olemiss.
