Officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI and expired tag
1 possession of a fake ID
1 public drunk
1 suspended driver’s license, expired tag and warrant served
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department made one arrest for sale of a controlled substance and investigated the following reports:
1 agency assist
1 alarm
2 civil matter
2 information
2 reckless driving
3 transports
1 welfare concern
University Police Department made no arrests, investigated four wrecks and the following reports:
1 grand theft
1 petty theft
1 ambulance needed
1 possession of alcohol by a person under 21
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
3:37 p.m. – Campus Creek Office – smoke detector malfunction
1:23 a.m. 10/1 – Kappa Sigma – general fire alarm malfunction
5:02 a.m. 10/1 – Vaught Hemingway – South End Zone – smoke detector malfunction
