Deputies made the following arrests:
1 driving while license suspended, no insurance and expired tag
1 warrant for intimidating a witness
University Police Department investigated three wrecks and the following reports:
1 disturbance
1 ambulance needed
2 suspicious people
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
7:06 a.m. – First National Bank Square – A/C unit sparking – turned power off to unit
11:07 a.m. – Zaxby’s – medical call – monitored vitals until EMS arrived
12:52 p.m. – Tru by Hilton – working on alarm system caused an activation
2:21 p.m. – 103 Cove Drive – workers activate a smoke detector
4:35 p.m. – Oxford Parking Garage – testing the alarm system
7:50 p.m. – 241 St. Andrew Circle – medical assist
6:19 a.m. 9/23 – Rockette’s One Stop – grease trap full and caught fire – extinguished the fire
