Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
10:45 a.m. – The Domain Building 4 – spraying wasp spray activated a smoke detector
5:38 p.m. – Vaught Hemingway – south end zone hallway smoke detector malfunction
8:10 p.m. – 55 Thacker Loop – garbage can on fire – FD extinguished it
3:37 and 4:13 a.m., 9/20 – The Chancellor Hotel and Spa – smoke detector malfunction
