Oxford Police Department issued 19 tickets, investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

1 ambulance assist
1 animal complaint
1 careless driving complaint
2 civil matters
1 domestic violence
2 improper parking complaints
1 K-9 search
2 motorist assists
1 property damage
1 simple assault
3 suspicious activities
1 suspicious person
1 vehicle search
4 welfare checks

OPD made the following arrests:
1 DUI
1 no driver’s license, no headlights and warrant served
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and no seat belt
1 public drunk

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:
1 alarm
1 animal complaint
3 disturbances
2 follow-ups
1 harassment
2 information
1 reckless driving
1 scam
1 service call
1 suspicious person
1 suspicious vehicle
1 transport
1 trespassing
6 papers served

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 no driver’s license, no tag, no insurance and possession of paraphernalia
1 child support
1 grand larceny
1 DUI other, no driver’s license, reckless driving, running a stop sign, improper passing and failure to yield
1 DUI-second, no driver’s license and capias warrant

University Police Department investigated two wrecks.

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
9:16 a.m. – Highway 7 N. and Highway 6 – wreck with injuries
12:44 p.m. – 34 La Rhonda Dr. – medical call – EMS already on scene
2:40 p.m. – 906 Murfield – call canceled
8:54 p.m. – Wilson Art – call canceled
9:20 p.m. – Wilson Art – technician working on the water flow alarm system
9:59 p.m. – 227 Flim Flam at 100 U Club Cove – general fire alarm malfunction
