Oxford Fire Department firefighters responded to the following calls:
6/28 – 9:18 a.m. – Park Apts. at 800 College Hill Road – third-floor smoke detector malfunction
6/28 – 9:26 a.m. – 711 East Jackson Ave. – wreck with entrapment – extricated a driver
6/28 – 11 p.m. – 705 Martin Luther King Circle – assisted EMS with a patient lift
6/28 – 12:59 p.m. – Southern Chic Salon and Spa – medical call – checked vitals and monitored until EMS arrived
6/28 – 21:17 p.m. Home2 Suites – call canceled
6/29 – 9:44 a.m. – Chevron North Lamar – unresponsive person call – provided advanced life support
6/29 – 5:20 p.m. – 546 Wedgewood Cove – call canceled
6/29 – 10:17 p.m. – 304 Lakewood – medical call canceled per EMS
6/30 – 5:59 a.m. – 325 Van Buren – living room smoke detector malfunction
6/30 – 4:22 p.m. – Uncommon parking garage – jumping a car off and melted the battery cables – FD removed the cables from the battery
6/30 – 4:44 p.m. – 409 Country Club – smoke detector malfunction
6/30 – 5:30 p.m. – State Veterans Home – resident pulled a pull station fire alarm
6/30 – 6:09 p.m. – 496 Exbury – smell of gas – checked the residence with the gas monitor and did not find any leak or smell of gas
7/01 – 3:33 a.m. – Wilson Art – call canceled
