Officers made the following arrests:
1 disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, discharging of fireworks in the city limits
3 for DUI and careless driving
1 DUI, careless driving, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, running a stop sign, no driver’s license and no insurance
1 DUI, no driver’s license, no insurance and careless driving
1 DUI, careless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia
1 DUI and no tail lights
1 DUI, possession of schedule 4 drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing traffic
1 DUI and no headlights
1 DUI and child endangerment
1 fake ID

1 warrant served
1 warrant served for trespassing

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department made no arrests and investigated the following reports:

University Police Department conducted one traffic stop, investigated a report of petty theft and made one arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia
Oxford Fire Department firefighters responded to the following calls:
11:30 a.m. – Northeast Power – assisted EMS in loading a patient into the ambulance
2:04 & 3:33 p.m. – Lafayette County Courthouse – smoke detector by the elevator malfunctioned
9:05 p.m. – Residential Hall 3 – someone was stuck on an elevator
12:51 p.m. – 611 Commerce Parkway – shower steam activated a smoke detector
2:02 a.m. – 53 Sheila Drive – hall smoke detector malfunction
